Dr. Lawrence Rosenberg is president and CEO of the Integrated Health and Social Services University Network for West-Central Montreal. Before assuming this position in 2015, Dr. Rosenberg served as Chief of Surgical Services and then executive director of Montreal’s Jewish General Hospital.

Additioanlly, Dr. Rosenberg is a professor of surgery and Medicine at McGill University where he launched the Pancreas Transplant Program. He is responsible for the first successful liver transplant at McGill. Presently, he oversees a team developing a bioartificial pancreas.

Today, Dr. Rosenberg is a sought-after speaker for his thoughts and experiences on the vanguard of healthcare. As both a doctor and a health system CEO, his insights shed light on the present-day realities, the emerging technologies, patient autonomy, and the future of healthcare across the globe.

Dr. Rosenberg earned his M.D. from McGill and his Ph.D. in experimental surgery during his residency at McGill. Dr. Rosenberg authored has over 200 peer-reviewed publications. Among his numerous distinctions, Dr. Rosenberg is the only Canadian to receive an American Surgical Association Foundation Fellowship.
